Muscle testing 101

There are a lot of modalities out there to help diagnose what is going on with your clients. There are lab tests, palpation, imaging, thermography, range of motion, history, gait analysis, and many more. These can, at times, help you to hit the nail on the head with clients but they can also miss a lot and even steer you the wrong way.

When I was having major health challenges in my younger years (no, not the jurassic period) I received palliative help at the best. But the professionals that I was working with couldn’t get to the root of my issues.

Next best thing to being psychic

Then I met doctors that used muscle testing. My first reaction was, “what the _____!” But then I was interested, really interested. Can they really ask their client’s body questions and get answers? Answers that were correct? This is ridiculous… But interesting, very interesting!

So I tried it. I started going to doctors that used muscle testing to find out what my body needed in order to return to health. I had a steady progression toward healing. I started going to seminars on how to muscle test and how to apply it. I was amazed!

Does it really work?

I experimented with this new found tool. I wanted to check tangible things with muscle testing. One of the first experiments that I did that made me a believer… I took a fellow student’s arm and asked their body, “It there a misalignment in the thoracic spine”. I got a positive response! I asked down the levels, “T1, T2, …T7”. I got a positive signal at T7. I palpated the fellow student’s T7 and sure enough it was out of place compared to the rest of the thoracic spine. This led me to much more testing, researching and learning.

After years of learning about muscle testing I was asked to help teach some of the classes that I was in. And I was eventually asked to teach my own courses. I was reluctant. I didn’t feel that I had the ability to be that authority about the subject. I didn’t think I was smart enough to teach either. I’m just a kid from Queens, NY. But the universe had other plans for me. I’ve now been helping to teach and teaching my own classes for over 13 years.

I’ve now been using muscle testing for about 17 years. I use it with my clients. I use it personally. I use to for everything. There are things that I wouldn’t dare doing without first consulting a muscle test.

What can you use muscle testing for?

Of course I use muscle testing with my clients. But I also use it as a guide in my life. Muscle testing taps into your subconscious, and thus what has been called the “collective consciousness”, that we all have a connection to through our subconscious. With the proper training and focus you can ask almost anything with muscle testing to see if it is a good thing for you, or not a good thing for you. What you can’t ask about is the future, but anything in the present and past are fair game.

This is the way it works… If something is good for you, a muscle should become strong. It something is not good for you, a muscle should go weak. It is a easy as that. Although training is needed to learn the feel of the muscles and there rules for muscle testing.

The possibilities are unlimited

When you master muscle testing miracles happen. I expect miracles in my practice. I expect miracles in my personal life. I expect miracles with my own health.

Is this easy to learn?

Some people pick up muscle testing right away. For some people it takes more practice and focus. It took me a long time to master. Thank God that most of my students get it easier than me! I think I went the way of the rough road so that I could be a better teacher. But no mater what, you will never master it if you don’t start learning.  If this is for you read on about what you will learn and sign up now.

    Hello Dr. Ciprian,
I am thinking of taking your class in August. I am a functional nutritionist thinking of applying muscle testing with my clients in relation to food, toxicity and specific supplements/protocols. Will I be able to use muscle testing for those purposes or your class is focused on a structural alignment only?
    Thank you

      Hello Marina,
This class is not a structural based one. It is geared toward using muscle testing in a general sense. You can apply it to the tools you use with your clients.
